Hi, I'm Ella!
I am an adventure traveler, outdoor photographer, animal lover, and passionate environmentalist. Over the past few years, I’ve had some amazing travel opportunities - such as roadtripping across the USA, backpacking through Peru, volunteering in Scotland, swimming with turtles in Hawaii, and more!
I grew up on the east coast, exploring the beautiful Appalachian mountains. And this is where my love for the hiking began.
After graduating college, I moved to the west coast of the USA, seeking bigger mountains, prettier coastal views, and more adventure!
I spend most of my time on the coast and in the mountains of California - hiking, running, swimming, & camping. While also traveling internationally a few times a year and traveling within the states quite frequently!
About four years ago, I started casually posting my landscape photography on an instagram account, Wandering with Ella. As my account has grown, and my travel continued, I wanted to start sharing my adventures in a new format!
I have created this website and decided to start a blog as a way of documenting my adventures, creating in-depth travel guides, and just sharing more about ways that YOU can travel & seek out experiences like I have.
